“...the types that would want this sort of crap in their car.”

The types who would want news, traffic info, and music in their car? Gosh, I don’t know anyone like that.

I don’t understand why all the new cars don’t just put a port for your iPhone with maybe an adapter for droids. I’d love to get in set my phone in a port (where the CarPlay is) and go. Much simpler and everyone has a cell now.

And why do you need this much excessive stuff in your car? What news is your phone going to give your car that you can;t already get on talk radio or, if you have satellite, a news station?
Traffic info is usually on 24/7 on a certain station as well. Or, you just open Google maps on your phone and it shows you all the traffic.
And for music, there are plenty of radio stations playing music that you can tune into. Or, if you must listen to your own stuff, just about every radio has an 1/8" input that you can plug your phone into and play music off of it.

Why does your car have to be completely connected and have all this extra stuff that costs more? And what they do is jack up the price for adding this stuff, but then if you want it removed, they charge EVEN MORE to NOT put it in the car!
