Japanese beetle, its larva is in your grass as grubs that eat the roots of your grass. Treat the lawn with an insecticide in early June and early July. Treat ground cover, too, such as wood chips (you'll find the grubs under there, too).

The beetle attacks luscious leaves and the result is a lattice work of the leaves, particular in stone-fruit trees (cherry, peach).

I am a big fan of insecticide of all types.

The only thing holding me back is my dogs and my kid: Will I give them cancer later on by broadcasting all this stuff on my yard?

I remember being a kid, and my mom explaining the new laws on the books. she said drink up, this is the last time you will ever taste Malathion.
