A 26-stone woman has claimed that she is going blind after drinking 28 cans of the stimulant drink every day
A woman has claimed that she started to lose her sight after drinking dozens of cans of Red Bull every day.
Lena Lupari, 26, has gained so much weight from drinking seven litres of the energy drink that her brain has swollen. The mother-of-three was ingesting 3,000 calories every day and was unaware of the harm she was doing to her body until she collapsed in June.
She told the MailOnline: "I used to drink 28 cans of Red Bull in a day and I'd only have a meal at night but it would usually be something fast-food like a takeaway or a packet of pasta.
"I've got three young children, one with special needs, and didn't have time to make anything.
"I'd been suffering from migraines and headaches for about five years but I just ignored them and took painkillers. "Then my vision went and I couldn't even lift my head off the bed and I ended up in hospital for six days."

The nasty stuff tastes good when your body needs the electrolytes that it contains.
I like milk but there are times when it tastes like someone added a tablespoon of sugar to it. That is when I am low on calcium.
But I have to agree that Red Bull is nasty. Give me a nice coffee!

You have not seen stupid until you've seen a bunch of 30-somethings, all too rich for their own good, deciding to have "fun" by drinking mass quantities of Vodka mixed with Red Bull.
Coherence ceases after the second drink. But the fade out, pass out never seems to hit them. They just keep getting stupider and stupider.

Well, it does taste bad, but it’s also unhealthy, so...
I sampled half an eyedropper's worth of that crap at the bar and thought my heart was gonna rupture. Never again.
And the big drink in our college bars is called a Jagerbomb--peppermint schnapps and red bull.

Red Bull probably saved my life.
Several times on long drives when I find myself nodding off behind the wheel, I’d pull into a rest area and pick up one of those Red Bulls. That stuff would keep me alert for hours. It was like ten cups of strong coffee. Even smooth jazz on the car radio was rocking my world.
I’m surprised that is a legal substance. It’s like taking speed.
Am I the only one who thought of a KISS song title upon reading the headline?
