Two national polls released on Tuesday and a New Hampshire poll released on Monday, show Donald Trump is crushing the rest of the Republican presidential field in the race for the GOP nomination. A Bloomberg Politics national poll found Trump way ahead with 21 percent support to just 10 percent for his nearest competitor, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. A CBS national poll released on Tuesday also showed Trump with a huge lead. In that poll, Trump garnered 24 percent support. Jeb Bush was in second place with 13 percent support.
The two national polls came a day after a WMUR poll found that Donald Trump has also taken a commanding lead in New Hampshire, the nation’s first primary state. Trump led the New Hampshire poll with 24 percent. He was followed by Jeb Bush at 12 percent, and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker at 11 percent support.

Trump is just the latest in a long line of indefinable celebrity candidates like Perot or Ventura.

His plan on healthcare was elaborated on an MSNBC interview and it sounded like what we want except some dabbling about the 20-25% who can’t afford healthcare part. Says he wants to cut deals with hospitals. Did not agree to single payer. This is good.
Luntz onn Hannity was saying rump had reached a ceiling because of his negatives. Looking at a couple of those polls, and his positive/negative is no longer under water and is similar to Jeb. Luntz is engaging in the wishful thinking crowd

I don’t think you’ll see that. Cruz said Trump is “terrific” and “tells the truth” and that he likes him. They keep meeting together without divulging what they discuss. Something is up with that pair, and it may well be something that precludes destruction during the debates.
