I’ve used eFax for 10 years but it’s not free

You want to live free at the expense of others? Is that what you are saying?

I use Metrofax for $7.95 per month which includes a phone number with my local area code.

I only fax two or three things a day so I am not sure what the limit is for that price.

I don’t know how it compares to other services but I like it.

I haven’t used them in years, but I had an e-fax account that worked fine. They kept trying to upsell me to the paid version, but I ignored that and used the free west coast number they issued me, and had no problems. (Transferred the costs for local faxes from me to the sender).

It used to be an upcharge for a local or toll free number, and there may have been volume limits; if so, I never hit them.

Not to stick my nose in where it doesn’t belong, but I’m curious why someone would need to send or receive faxes. Haven’t fax machines gone the way of the rotary phone?

Buy a cheap scanner, make pdf docs, and email them. WAY better than faxing. I probably sent my last fax 10 years ago.

Either method scans your doc into a bunch of bits and sends those. So there is no difference between faxed doc and emailed pdf doc.
