Has anyone noticed that the moon is brighter than normal tonight ? Saw a bright object flying in the sky brighter than airplane in eastern USA.
This month’s moon turns precisely full on July 31 at 10:43 Universal Time – the standard clock time at the prime meridian of 0o longitude.
You mean near the moon? Every evening there are various satellites visible near dusk, and we were watching the moon from Chitown, here, and I fired up my Starry Night and saw quite a number of satellites near the moon.
I couldn’t spot any of them, though, because the moon is so bright! BTW, it will be at its mathematically fullest around dawn, 7/31, so all the newspapers say the full moon is on that date, but it is more full tonight than it will be tomorrow night ... “Trust me I know what I’m doing”
If you can narrow down the time frame, I can jump to the east coast in a click and take a look.

And it only happens once in a blue moon.
I just missed it by that much.
I saw a object in the center of the sky if your look at it as a hemisphere, not near the moon.
I learned that from Trump himself. Never be afraid to show your ass ;)
