Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension for his role in using underinflated footballs during the AFC Championship Game was upheld by commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday.

In making the announcement, Goodell cited new evidence that Brady willfully obstructed the investigation by destroying his phone on or about June 23, the day of the appeals hearing between Brady and investigators.

Based on Ted Wells' report and the evidence presented at that hearing, Goodell concluded in his decision that Brady was aware of, and took steps to support, the actions of other team employees to deflate game footballs below the levels called for by NFL rules. ...

And the bigger issue that a white guy got this 4 game suspension for the suspicion of a fart's worth of air in a football while black guys get slapped on the wrist for beating their women ON CAMERA, and various other blatant crimes, just totally escapes you pukes.

I guess as long as the little PC NAZI's are beating on who you want beat up on it's all fun-n-games. Very informative.

The footballs were not deflated by the ball boy. The change in psi of the footballs was due to the change in temperature.

Brady should appeal and will win.

Brady was right not to give up his phone. He could not trust Wells to keep his private messages from being leaked.

“you can’t try to tell me Brady didn’t know what was going on with the balls.”

There was nothing going on with the footballs. The psi dropped because of the drop in temperature.

IIRC the temperature at game time was 50 degrees.

This article shows that it was scientifically impossible for the footballs to have been manually deflated.

"There was nothing going on with the footballs. The psi dropped because of the drop in temperature."

Then why didn't the pressure in any of the Colt's balls drop?

Nonsense, just stick a pump needle into the inflation hole on the ball.

“why didn’t the pressure in any of the Colt’s balls drop?”

They did drop. The inconsistency was in the way the psis were measured.

Nope, that doesn't sound like Brady is guilty. Nothing to see here, this isn't the quarterback you were looking for, move along.

Why did Jim McNally refer to himself as “the deflator”?

Wow, so the first 4 teams they play (the owners) call and tell Goodell to stick to his guns. Tells me they know they cannot beat Brady. Poor Jerry Jones is game 4 and Brady will be back by then and hang 40+ on the cowgirls.

Guess that took the wind out of his day today. :)

The Steeler fan in me gives this two thumbs up.

I guess he will have to sit out four games watching practice tapes of other teams.
