Trump is nothing more than an opportunist, a narcissist, and a self-promoter.

Written in plain English, he is just as much a fraud as 'Brobama'!

The Bible tells us how to choose leaders and Trump does measure up.

Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task.
Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect.
(If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)
He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.
He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.
In the same way, deacons[b] are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.
They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.
They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
In the same way, the women[c] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.
A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well.
Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 3:1-13

Oh for heaven sakes, Trump sure is enduring a whole lot of personal attacks and insults just for personal gain like you infer. Did you EVER entertain the thought that Trump has achieved all he has wanted in life, and like many other wealthy men before him, now wants to give back to the country that allowed him to do so? That Trump just might be a patriot?

Lying, that’s what you just did, didn’t you. You made up out of whole cloth the “lying, backstabbing, turncoat, deceiving narcissist” baloney that you attributed to us saying, rather than what YOU say, not us. You lie like a rug. Look in a mirror.

This seems like a waste of a good sleeper ID.

An In Forum search on me goes back maybe two days on the first page. Your first page goes back to 2009. Do you post much?

Answers come in very strange packages. God chose a murderer and stutterer to lead Israel out of bondage; chose an adulterer who sent his lover's husband into the front lines to be killed to lead Israel as a kingdom; brought the 69 year old actor and former governor into the forefront at just the right time to lead America.

So I don't know. What I do know is that it wouldn't surprise me at all.

“Your first page goes back to 2009. Do you post much?”

I post when I think I have something interesting to share, like Saddam Hussein has been captured, you know, quality as opposed to quantity.

I agree.

Here’s where I am:

I am absolutely LOVING what Trump is bringing to the table. I’m LOVING that he’ll say what so many “voiceless” feel. I’m LOVING that he’s bearding the lion and getting all of this poison out on the table and into discussion.

I don’t really believe Trump’s going to be the guy. I’ve got grave doubts about who he really is at his core; what his true beliefs are about immigration, the 2nd amendment...pretty much everything.

Don’t get me wrong: I agree with almost everything he’s saying NOW. And I’m glad he’s saying it.

But even if he’s serious, even if he intends to go the distance...I believe he’s got too much against him to make it. As rich and as powerful and as independent as he is, I think he’s going to be the target of too many other powerful, rich people/organizations.

Although I don’t think he’s the guy...I think he COULD be the guy that finally kicks the damned door open. I think he COULD be the guy that inspires others to go for it. I think he COULD be the first one into the breach, the one that demonstrates the weaknesses of the enemy for others with the lion’s heart.

We’ll see. We’ll see if anyone else picks up the banner if he falls. We’ll see if an army forms around/behind him that will continue to charge.

We’ll see if what he says/does lights the fuses of enough Americans that we learn some stuff.

We seem to forgive/forget with Trump on a LOT of things. I think we do that because he’s finally talking like we want our leaders to do. He’s not doing, yet. He’s just talking. But he’s talking like we want them to do.

And we give him a pass on his past associations, his past words, his past positions because we want so badly to have someone who, at least in the current moment, appears to be in the right, stirring the damned pot up.

We don’t give the same slack to the other candidates. Hell, Trump basically said the same things about the border that Perry did. But Trump gets credit and Perry gets dumped on.

Trump is outrageous...only because it’s so “new” to hear someone calling people out.

Cruz is outrageous! They try to crush Cruz because he’ll say what everybody knows: The leadership is lying to us.

We know this. Cruz and Trump will say it.

By God, we need this type of man! And if Trump showing everyone how to do it is his calling, his mission, his use...then he’s accomplishing it.

I want to see the damn dam break! I want to see more and more people throwing truth grenades! I want to see more and more people being put under the spotlight! I want the corruption exposed and the corrupt destroyed. I want to rip the heart out of the machine that lies to us, taxes us, uses us, despises us, ignores us.

If Trump makes it through the primary, I’ll vote for him.

If Trump burns out or is shot down, I will forever honor his effort.

He is doing what I’ve wanted for decades. I’ve wanted someone to stand up and call everyone out. I’ve wanted a damned gunslinger to walk into the street and call the corrupt out and show them for what they are.

If we can’t find men in politics that will finally accomplish change, then I want a revolution. I want to bring back tarring and feathering. I want to bring back shame and destruction and danger and loss and fear to those who would treat the American people with such despicable disdain.

If Trump, or those who would take up his banner can’t do it, we are on our own. And I would rather see revolution than acquiescence.

[Sorry for the rant]

"Nothing but-ism" is the dead giveaway of the shallow thinker.

True.

This precious child all of 23, needs to learn a good bit more about the world.

Plenty of time to learn, though.

I see. I seem to remember that all of you folks absolutely, positively would not stand for that repulsive RINO Romney, so you courageously stayed home and let the "sheeple" vote for him.

Then - and this was a big surprise - Obama won a second term. We got gay marriage, more executive fiats, more illegal/unconstitutional acts, supported all sorts of racist acts, (Michelle spent many more millions on vacations) and we gave Iran nuclear weapons.

But you won! You stood by whatever funny little principles you think you stand for and stayed home.

If Donald Trump can keep Hillary out of the White House and maybe reverse the invasion of America from the South, keep the terrorists in Guantanamo and the Mexicans in Mexico, and even just a few of Comrade Obama's agenda items, I'm fine with him, n'est-ce pas? Or is that just too hard to understand?
