Jeb Bush, Rubio, Lindsey Graham in...Trump is Out of NH Voter's First Debate

RINO Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham will participate in the Voter’s First Forum in New Hampshire on August 3rd along with 11 other GOP candidates.

But Donald Trump will not attend the event after the organizers published a brutal hit piece on the GOP front-runner.

Donald Trump won’t attend the New Hampshire Voter’s First Forum. The idiot organizers attacked him last week.

Good luck with your ratings, guys!

The Union Leader reported, via Free Republic:

“ Jeb Bush, Scott Walker and Rand Paul are in. Donald Trump is out.

A total of 14 candidates will participate in the Voters First Republican Presidential Forum on Monday, Aug. 3, at St. Anselm College. The two-hour forum, intended to highlight the importance of the first-in-the-nation primary, along with the Iowa caucuses and South Carolina’s early primary.

“I am in the North Country today,” Bush said Thursday, “meeting with voters about my message of reforming the culture in Washington. I’m looking forward to participating in the August 3rd forum. It’s clear it is a great opportunity to engage with Granite Staters about the important issues confronting the nation.”

Spokesmen for Paul and Walker said they are looking forward to the event.

The forum came into being after Fox News was heavily criticized for limiting the first sanctioned TV debate to 10 candidates based solely on national polling. Republicans in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina all wrote letters protesting the polling criteria, but Fox hasn’t budged. However, it has moved up to a 5 p.m. start a second forum for lower-polling candidates. It is unclear how many will attend. The Fox events are in Cleveland, but that state’s governor, John Kasich, may not make the top tier for the primetime debate.

The Voters First Forum is being co-sponsored by the New Hampshire Union Leader, the Charleston, S.C., Post and Courier, and the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Gazette. Broadcast co-sponsors are iHeart radio, KCRG-TV, Cedar Rapids; and WLTX-TV in Columbia, S.C. The forum will be broadcast nationally by C-SPAN. New England viewers will be able to watch on NECN. It will be broadcast locally by NH1/WBIN-TV in New Hampshire, as well as by the South Carolina and Iowa stations. It will also air live on NHPR.

Candidate Trump bowed out because, an aide said, he was upset with a Union Leader editorial this week that mocked him for saying that U.S. Sen. John McCain was not a war hero. McCain, shot down by the North Vietnamese, suffered years of torture after refusing to be released early because his father was an admiral.

Joining Bush, Walker, Paul and Sen. Rubio will be Carly Fiorina, Govs. Bobby Jindal, John Kasich and Chris Christie, former Govs. Rick Perry and George Pataki; U.S. Sens. Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, and Dr. Ben Carson.

The strategy could be to show that it is beneath him and to get the first taste of Jeb’s debate.

He can then prime up for the Fox debate.

When one takes it all the way back before Lindsey Graham made some untoward comments about Trump, which was after Trump’s comments about McCain which followed McCain’s comments about the attendees at a Trump rally and back to Trump/Bush, who was the first to attack -— Jeb Bush attacks Trump or Trump attacks Jeb Bush?

Trump made the correct decision,I'm sure. This event had no publicity. Noone cares about it at all. It will be a bush commercial and Trump will go for an audience 10 times larger and expose and embarrass the ill fated attempt to sand bag him at Fox.
Any time you see John Sanunu ,plaster over the face of baby boy bush. He was on FOX this morning and was nervously touting the Fox debate as a chance to expose Trump “on the issues” . You can tell they have it all planned but I predict he crams that down their throat very quickly. Be sure and watch . Trumo will be well prepared on issues such that they will try to cu cut off the details because it does not fit their narrative. I want details on bridgegate and common core and amnesty from the establishment crowd and will they immediately prosecute hillary and her conspiracy group for her government document concealment, destruction and removal crimes . Give us the details Rinos!!

Didn’t attack anyone else. I hope this is not going to kill Trump’s chances in NH. He was leading the polls.

Trump has groomed himself, like Reagan, for years from his time in front of the camera and when speaking to people from all walks of life. I think his biggest threat would be himself. I don’t think there’s a question he can’t handle. Someone asks him a question, like who is the president of Ethiopia, he can say, “I don’t know” or “It’s more important that he know who I am.” Or what if the ask him about the confederate flag, etc. I think if he gives honest answers, people will respect that. He’s not dumb.

I predict complete snooooze fest. Only 60 minutes long with a crowded stage, and the real debate starts 72 hrs later.

But but but Marco says,

"Sen. Rubio: It is vital every candidate attend Voters First Forum"

LoL Marco Polo sounds desperate.

Trump should have a campaign rally in NH at the same time as this boring forum.

Trump is different, others are all the same anyway. War in Iran, end Obamacare, export more jobs, end unions, agree with the Democrats to screw the middle class, oppose immigration, McCain is a hero, Trump is a misfit, Obama should be impeached. What will be missing is the one to rebuild American industry and restore good jobs for Americans [Oh I know tax cuts for the rich will do that]

It’s pretty smart for Trump not to participate. He gets to scope out the competition from the sidelines. Kinda like deferring after winning the coin toss. The Fox News debate is the one that count anyway.

If I were Trump I would hold my own debate. Line up real life cardboard look a likes of the other candidates, have someone give their “quoted” opinions on issues and then have Trump respond.

There is also a showmanship aspect to this as well.

Why show his cards at some rinky dink debate. Wait for the big one.

He doesn’t need to star in some Off Broadway show to work out the kinks. Go straight to Broadway. In this case, Fox.

No one will know what is coming. Not the fellow debaters. Not the press. Not Fox.
