Maybe we should all just step back a little, and let these people destroy each other. As long as they are shooting each other, they won’t have time to find victims outside their neighborhood.

Honestly, I just want to keep the whole gun violence issue in perspective. Contrary to what Lawrence O’Donnell, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Juan Williams, Geraldo Rivera, etc would have you believe, the vast majority of shootings are not perpetrated by white men in movie theaters and are not significantly correlated to nor caused by the possession of firearms by law abiding Americans.

"I have no problem with that money being used to build more prisons"

Ditto. I mean what do people think we should do with criminals other than shoot them? Liberals really believe that unfortunate young black males are simply put in prison to support the prison industry. As if citizens would like to see their taxes wasted to throw innocent people in prison.

There are prisons because there are criminals. Simple as that.

Why isn’t all that gun control decreasing gun violence in Baltimore? What could it be?

Structural racism in a deeply racist white populace. Look at how they let Confederate flags loose on the poor, helpless population of Baltimore.

I have no problem with taxes being used to build prisons or put cops on the streets. As you say, they’re needed. My contention, though, is that the funding for both should be coming from state and local governments rather than the federal government. The feds have no more business putting cops on the street than they do putting teachers in the classroom.

The left is right in their with their Planned Parenthood on the covert agenda to keep blacks down.

I am happy to let places like B’more suffer all the consequences of their actions. Make sure the ammo is in good supply, cause they really don’t shoot very well.
