In other words, people who enjoy history are a bulwark against the “white guilt” trashola that is crapping all over the culture nowadays.

I’ve noticed that kids fall for this garbage because they don’t understand history. Once you start to really see the way history works, the white supremacy garbage gets run over. Someone is always on the top, someone is always on the bottom. That is what history is. A struggle to be the one on top. Eventually the hourglass turns, and things mix up. The argument is, WHY did it turn. It’s very clear when you just look at the facts, but the left doesn’t want you doing that, so it tries to keep you from noting why by calling you a “bigot” if you even touch certain subjects. It’s all part of the Fahrenheit 451 self-censorship that the left is trying to inculcate in today’s young people.

I have noticed young leftists are remarkably uneducated in anything that challenges their worldview. I’ve taken a walk over in the DU swamp quite a few times - when someone posts something that might be uncomfortable, unlike FR, where people jump in, and do a good job explaining how facts can be skewed, in DU the threads are simply ignored - they drop dead - if they are uncomfortable.
