We tried. When I was homeschooling my son in third grade we went through a few shopping centers and the only thing we found made in America was local sandals. Period.

Exactly. We want to buy made in American but can rarely find anything. At one store we saw Confederate battle flags and cups commemorating Gettysburg made in China. Somebody commented that certain Army hats are made in China.
