But isn’t that arguing from an example of exactly one? We have exactly one example of life, us. To take this one example and then say, ‘obviously all life everywhere could only exist as it does here’ seems flawed.

Likewise the argument that there absolutely must be other life elsewhere just because there is an example of exactly one here seems flawed to me too.

Please have a read in the part of this link where the text is blue. That should help clarify justification for mankind being the only creation made in God's image.
