I’m a satisfied Ruger customer of long standing, owning a 9mm pistol and a .22 rifle. But $1400 is a bit rich for my blood.

I had an SR-556 and an old SP-101 (both lost in a damned boating accident). Love Ruger for quality.

Also lost in that horrible accident was my Baby Glock 9mm.

Word to the wise, don't take a boat to your favorite shooting grounds.

My local gun store has a sale at $1000, regular price $1100. I imagine you local store is similarly priced for now.
