Kate Steinle’s brother slams Donald Trump for ‘sensationalizing’ sister’s murder

The brother of a San Francisco murder victim slammed presidential hopeful Donald Trump for using his sister’s death as a political platform.
Kate Steinle was gunned down earlier this month by an undocumented immigrant on a popular pier. Since then, the anti-immigration Trump has used her death — and the deaths of other Americans killed by undocumented immigrants — as a political talking point.
But Steinle’s brother Brad said Trump hasn’t contacted his family at all as he uses the 32-year-old woman’s death in his “not rational” campaign.
“Donald Trump talks about Kate Steinle like he knows her. I’ve never heard a word from his campaign manager, never heard a word from him,” he told Anderson Cooper Tuesday. “It’s disconcerting, and I don’t want to be affiliated with somebody who doesn’t have the common courtesy to reach out and ask about Kate and ask about our political views and what we want.”

I read it as someone (perhaps the family attorney) got to him and told him not to associate with Trump.
LOL I read about that this morning. Who? Who is that? Huh? You can bet your ass he knows who Michael Brown is, but Kate Steinle?? Who dat?
The person who should be calling and apologizing is the president who failed the victim and her loved ones, not the presidential candidate who pointed out the failed policy from this administration.
Trump says he wanted to give the him some time to grieve before he called. Brother tweeted Trump so he is miffed didn’t get a response. See post#14.
Is it possible the Steinle family was threatened and intimidated into walking back their initial statements opposing sanctuary cities? By pro illegal immigration thugs I mean.
That's an interesting comment considering he told Megyn Kelly he is not a politically savvy.
STEINLE: I'm not really too politically savvy. But there's nobody that could look me in the eye and tell me that man had any right to be walking free in the city of San Francisco with the ability to shoot and murder my sister Kate.
KELLY: I know you're not a political man. And you don't come from a political family. You were not giving thought to sanctuary cities and so on prior to this event. What is your position on San Francisco's sanctuary city policy now?
Maybe he disliked his sister. Most brothers would not react in such a callous way. They would be outraged at the situation and not want others to suffer the same.
If the parents welcomed Trump then he can ignore this brother somewhat.
CNN would not have had him on if he supported Trump.
What did Obama do with Trayvon Martin? Perfectly acceptable.
Wonder where he works? Ultra-Progressive company?
I commented to my family just last night that Kate and her family were, after all, California voters. Given the 2012 election results out there, there’s a 6 to 4 chance that she and her folks voted for Obama. It’s sad classic tragic irony that she would die as a result of yet another of Obama’s stupid and failed policies, that concerning illegals.
It’s even sadder that her bother now berates Donald Trump for citing her tragic and unnecessary death and further castigates him for “sensationalizing” her death and failing to contact the family. Unless I missed the White House press release, unlike Trevon Martin, Michael Brown and several others where Obama politicized their deaths and sent representatives to their funerals, Obama has remained silent and not contacted Kate’s family.
I guess liberal Democrats continue to support their leftist pals up to and including excusing them for getting a beloved family member killed!
So, so sad.
So... Trump was just being polite, waiting for his proper turn to call the family. After all, he wouldn’t want to step in line ahead of Broncobama.
The old adage that “a conservative is just a liberal who’s been mugged”, that doesn’t apply here. A liberal whose sister has been murdered due to a failed liberal policy is still a liberal.
LOL! Yep, it’s unreal isn’t it. If that was my sister I would be absolutely outraged screaming at the politicians for doing nothing. And the ONE guy who speaks up he is bashing? Holy crap! How far down the rabbit hole is he?
