OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Is the Sunspot Cycle About to Stop?

By: Jay M. Pasachoff | June 14, 2011

Among the 320 solar physicists who have gathered for a conference in Las Cruces, New Mexico, word is buzzing about a claim that the 11-year solar-activity cycle, which some of them have spent their lives studying, may be on the verge of a drastic change

Now we know why the Obama regime is closing off coal powered electric generation, nuclear power and tries to prohibit fracking.....

Fits in with Bill Ayers dream of extinguishing 23,000,000 Americans

Good luck surviving with snowed over solar panels and frozen wind generators.

If we really are already into a mini ice age, we have very little time to get our food plants adapted.

GMO is going to be vital.

The anti-GMO Food Luddites, and you Freepers who are part of this evil cabal know who you are, will cause the starvation of additional millions.

It’s time to repent and repudiate your evil alliances.

Global warming to cause ice age in 2030…

Happens every time. I crank up the heat in my home, lay the ice trays next to the heat outlet, and within 10 minutes, I have ice.

Y'see.

These global warming/climate change advocates make so many unsubstantiated claims that they are causing confusion.

Floods or new ice age?

How many inches have the oceans risen in the last century?

Do I get hip-high wading boots or a parka?

You nailed it perfectly. But the 23 million figure was a long time ago. I think it would be over 100 million today.

They’re vile, evil bastards.

They deserve lead poisoning.

You jest.

But I remember when I was about 8 years old in the mid-1950s, we visited some relatives in a NM. They had a 'gas' refrigerator. I recall looking underneath, as the appliance had about 9" legs, and marveled at seeing the pilot light flickering and wondering how that translated in cold to preserve food.

It looked something like this, IIRC:

Well? Which is it? Do I save my wood for heating, or do I build an Ark?

These people are beyond ridiculous. ‘Mother Erf’ is gonna do what She’s gonna do. We just need to prepare and/or stay out of Her way if we can. :)

Some former neighbors of mine had a gas air conditioning unit. It required electricity to operate too but mainly it ran on natural gas. I wish I had one, don’t know if it is even possible any more, the electric company has their hooks into us now.

I remember the refrigerator you posted, I remember when we had one but I didn’t know they ran on gas.

Geological evidence says these Ice Ages are cyclic events that have been going on for a very long time, and we could well be due for another one. Between that and the Global Warming fear mongering I can see us ending up in a situation where the politically well connected (like Al Gore) are going to get control of the energy sources, living comfortably and getting filthy rich dealing in “carbon credits” while the rest of us freeze in the dark because we can’t afford the fuel to keep warm.

That was an interesting video. More proof that MAN is not the tiniest bit at fault as to what our Universe is going to do.

Guess I’ll just be growing salad greens, spinach and cole crops in the future:

• Brussels sprout
• Cabbage
• Cauliflower
• Collards
• Kale
• Kohlrabi
• Mustard
• Broccoli
• Turnip
• Watercress

No more tomatoes? That’s depressing!

How many inches have the oceans risen in the last century?

Nature has not been cooperating with Al Gore and those who are making the claim that because of fossil fuel use both worldwide temperatures and the sea level are going to rise dramatically.

Without satellite data, the actual amount that the seas have risen is actually more difficult to determine than one might think. This is largely because coastal land masses are simultaneously rising and falling in different world. This is due to a number of factors including continental shift, volcanic activity, seismic activity, erosion, and numerous other natural processes. The data seems to show that the seas have risen around 6 inches in the last hundred years and have been rising at a similar rate since the “little ice age”. All though one would expect that melting glaciers and sediment carried from land masses due to erosion into the oceans would play a part, most of this sea level rise during this period is theorized to be from thermal expansion of the waters. In some places such as Bangladesh he amount of land mass above Sea Level has increased due to soils being deposited by rivers from the process of erosion. This is despite scary predictions that the entire country would soon be under water. Many Pacific Atolls have been gaining land mass as well despite the scary predictions. /p>

Ironically, the best instrumentation available indicates that there has actually been a decrease in the rate of sea level rise over the last 20 years. This corresponds with satellite data that shows that there has been no measurable “global warming” during the same time period despite rising CO2 levels.

Liberals always state that the Sun’s heat output stays effectively the same, and they say sunspots have no effect on Earth’s temperature. Everything is “greenhouse gas-based,” and therefore human caused.
