The Silent Majority of Americans support Targeted Deportation. We want a secure border to stop the flow of new illegals, but also to stop those that are deported from returning.
The vast majority of Americans support our current immigration laws. We want the criminal element deported first, followed by those who are receiving public assistance.
Toughening the penalties on employers hiring illegals, stopping welfare, food stamps and healthcare, will all contribute to self deportation.
We want to know where the candidates stand on this component of the illegal immigration issue. We want clarity. We want to know that our next Chief Executive will enforce our laws, protect our border, and ensure the safety of our citizens. That means prioritized, systematic deportation.
Senator Cruz, I believe that you stand with the people on this. Please make your position known, Loud and Clear.
He’s letting Trump run interference as lead blocker, which is OK in the early going.
And that is the keyword.
Systematic. Little by little. Starting with the worst and working back from there.
It would take time. But is a workable solution.
I think he was pretty clear in that interview with Ramos. Have you seen it?
I truly believe Cruz will do this, but we need him to say so. The reason that Trump has surged ahead in the polls is this issue. Americans have very strong convictions on this, and if Cruz wants to get out the vote, this will get a lot of folks to the polls.
Start with La Raza
Actually, it will quickly show results.
When President Eisenhower starting deporting “wetbacks”, a great many illegal aliens self-deported.
Yes, I have. I didn’t bother to watch the Univision edited version. My frustration is the lack of clarity from all the candidates except Trump on where they stand on what to do with the illegals here.
I understand that Cruz does not consider himself to be running for dictator, but weighing in on the criminal and welfare element is a position that I think he needs to take.
Cruz will not answer clearly or succinctly.
“Actually, it will quickly show results.

Yes, they did. I have been told the same thing happened when Arizona passed tougher immigration laws.
We know where these people live. I would nationalize the national guard is every state and start a sweep south deporting everyone who is here illegally at the barrel of a gun like they did little Elian Gonzalas.
Do those things and illegal aliens will deport themselves and pay for the trip.
Don’t forget Self Deportation.
Over 200,000 illegals voluntarily left Arizona after SB 1070 became law.
Sux for Kallyforny that they all moved there. But the fact is - Self Deportation works. And we need it on a National scale.
I think CRUZ has consistently said ‘Obey the current Immigration Laws’, but no one knows exactly what those Laws are, as they are now interspersed with obummers EO’s to the Dept. Heads.
Cruz is not gonna fall into this Immigration TRAP,**** CLOSE THE BORDER FIRST ****, then we’ll have a National Discussion about what to do about the 20 Million people that aren’t here LEGALLY.
Backwards to what was promised his Mentor Reagan, back in the early 80’s.
Don’t let the Press run with this narrative, they will beat you till your dead.
And I wouldn’t just push the 1 step across the border either, I’d dump them all off on the Southern tip of Mexico.
“..The reason that Trump has surged ahead in the polls is this issue....”
Lather.
Rinse.
Repeat.
Spot-on.
Being an illegal alien who commits a criminal act should be an aggravating circumstance substantially increasing the seriousness of the crime and its subsequent punishment.
Being an illegal alien who was previously deported who commits a criminal act, should be an additional aggravating circumstance that pretty much puts an end to any civil rights that person might have had or ever will have.
Agreed.
YES!!!
Just deporting a murderer isn’t going to cut it. Does California still have the death penalty? Not that they’d ever actually exercise it.
