What’s a no wake zone?
No Wake is a slow boat speed, where there is no curling wake behind the boat.
Also described as “in gear but engine idling”. It is enough to maneuver the boat but not at speed.
When on plane, the boat is riding on top of the water, skimming on the water instead of displacing the water.
A speedboat on plane is about two feet higher than an idling boat.
Where they don't have people sitting around talking about what a great guy you were.
