Yeah. It’s West of the river bridge. It was considered to be in the “core” in the Seventies. “Core” meant ghetto.
In our town they tear down housing and add libraries, fire stations etc. The school has 10 foot high, or more, fences and looks like a jail yard.
I take food to a friend who still lives there and get stopped or followed by police who ask: “what am I doing there”?, if it even approaches sunset.
