Far from dead. Our leaders are corrupt and many parts of the country wallow in filth (think, kalifornia), but there are tens of millions of Faithful who still love God.

I'm not exactly sure what it is we hope for concerning America. Even if it falls, doesn't mean the end of time. God doesn't need this puny country in order to accomplish His will. We were here, He used us for awhile, we abandoned Him. He can raise up another tool. China. Cuba. His will is not obstructed by our shortsightedness.

It reminds me of what Mordecai told Esther: (paraphrase) "You don't want to serve God? Ok. God will find someone to do the job, but you'll be in hot water."

1 Peter 1:24-25: "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."

But I don't think He's done with us yet. I don't think America is dead. I just think the Faithful have been napping. I think God is going to awaken us.

Thank you for putting how I have been feeling into such wise words. Seeing it written the way you have it helps me greatly. God bless America!
