It was cloudy here as well. My Son and I were still able to see the bats, though.

Had some high clouds which were blocking a clear view they went away and the view was spectacular!

I can’t see it from my yard, too many trees. Probably won’t be able to pull out the telescope, too many clouds too. It has to be a lot higher in the sky to see from the yard. Have a pretty good area for the telescope, but low objects are blocked by trees.

Pic of the day is a way cool site, I’ve been keeping it bookmarked for around 10 years. Loads of cool pictures. I’ve seen Jupiter close to the moon last year, Mars at closest approach a few years ago, Saturn’s closest orbit, a couple of eclipses but won’t be able to see this one, not tonight anyway...Might have to take a ride one clear evening...
