I’ve been noticing for some time now, in articles talking about a woman having a baby, very often, no daddy is mentioned.
Could be no daddy in the picture, or, there is a daddy but not mentioning the daddy is by design, as we all know daddies are unimportant and abusers, and mommy doesn't need a daddy, and finally, by mentioning daddy that would be elitist, excluding all those mothers out there with no baby-daddy in the picture.
Much like the use of the word ‘partner’ when describing the husband or wife, it makes all couples the same.
