I Have a Theory and I Want Your Opinion on it.

I have a theory. The media is silently doctoring the polls out there to keep Hillary in the race. IN fact, she may end up losing all 50 states, and have the biggest loss in US electoral history.

I am quite sure that no matter what, around 25% of Americans, the ones who now say the country is going in the right direction, have no clue about anything going on in this country or the world.

75% know about Hillary Clinton and her dishonesty and will not vote for her. They may not vote republican, but they won't vote for her so they'll stay home.

Folks, if we rally around our candidate, whomever it is, we'll win, and win big. I can vote for almost any of them, (not Christie, not Bush, not Rubio) even Trump if he can convince me that he's a true patriot.

Personally, Trump in the game helps Cruz, Walker, Perry and the rest of the conservatives, because in comparison they seem pretty normal. Kinda like Reagan did in the first debate next to Carter.

I think as this election evolves eventually Hillary's closet of deception, corruption, lies, etc will be clear to the over welming population. The media will shore her up into a false sense of confidence, when internal polling will show that she is going to be a disaster for the democrats nationwide.

Am I right or wrong?

Not to mention the importing of Dims into historically conservative stronghold counties. 0bie’s plan shifts inner-city Section 8 folks to newly deemed suburban Section 8 housing.

Dims are importing voters, into the country and into conservative areas.

I think you’ve got it right there. Also, imagine having a weak-spined RINO in office when the Obamacare sh**storm that is coming finally crashes onto shore.

Wrong. The polls showing Hillary to be a strong candidate are no doubt accurate. Especially after two terms with the Democrats in power, most voters lack reliable systematic knowledge about candidates, politics, public policy, and current events. They instead vote based on vague perceptions, preferences, and arguments that they pick up from the general political and cultural environment as shaped by the news media and other liberal mechanisms of influence. Functionally, this means that many conservatives are so badly informed that they easily end up preferring a liberal Democrat.

When pressed, most Hillary supporters say and believe that that she is a strong leader with experience, that it is time for a woman president, and that the Republican candidate -- whomever it will be -- is unacceptable for one reason or another. Note that the general tenor of the strength and experience arguments in favor of Hillary is such that they appeal to uninformed but instinctively conservative voters.

For a Republican to win the Presidency in such circumstances requires, among other things, luck, a favorable political environment based on issues and events, an appealing candidate, and a good campaign that generates a late campaign season surge that breaks through the news media's programming and liberal influence and engages voter attention in favor of the GOP candidate.

The last two Republican Presidential candidates to do that and take the presidency from the Democrats -- Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan -- had sharply divergent personalities but were shrewd political veterans who benefitted from a bad economy, social turmoil at home, and worries over national security and the country's standing overseas. Both also recognized that to win the required electoral votes, they needed to energize the GOP base, romance away some Democratic voters, and win the swing vote -- all at the same time. In the context of today, the difficulty of doing that can be expressed by a simple number: that Hillary Clinton, for all her faults and weaknesses, polls strongly.

Just remember, fake polling results were invented during the Clinton administration and have been used ever since. They eventually become self-fulfilling.

She is not going to lose fifty states. We have deep blue states out there that would elect a German Shepherd or a cinder block if it had a “D” next to its name.

That being said, she is a lousy candidate, and given a competent opponent, could lose. Which is why the elites are working to hard to get Jeb Bush the GOP nod.

I don’t know. Saw Ted Cruz on with Katie Couric and he was absolutely shiningly brilliant. Get this man out front. If it takes Trump to dig the trench for Cruz to walk through, so be it.

A debate with Cruz vs Hillary would have her curled up in a fetal position before it was over.

I personally believe we could win if every last one of us showed up for an election, got out, canvassed, participated in the process and held the line. However, how many of us will get up off our lard butts to do this?

You can give up and wait for the collapse maybe .... But that’s going to be a highly painful thing to go through. Many are not going to survive that. Rather, I’d really like to see my fellow red blooded conservative friends at least try to take a stand.

At this point it will take an act of God to cleanse the minds of mush...they(and perhaps the country)are too far gone.

America will either learn history's lesson, or will collapse of it's own greed and stupidity like other nations have.

I suppose the lesson Conservatives could learn is, never allow your opposition to control the message and define you.

See, the problem was....there was no opposition.

Hollywood/academia became leftist institutions of indoctrination, and did so with very little push-back.

...there was no war, there wasn't even a battle(well, maybe McCarthy)...they just took it over.

Does that mean we should roll-over and die as the progressives wish?

....absolutely not, but in my opinion the "political" war is a lost cause, it's simply become too corrupt, and as such, a worthless weapon to fight a culture war.

No, each one of us has to find ways in our own lives to fight against the tyranny, too many have sacrificed everything for us to sit by and allow America's destruction from within.

...what's that line from The Ten Commandments?

"...I owe that to my fathers, not to my sons..."

I heard this morning that Cruz has an overrated self-opinion of his ability to do Simpsons characters impressions.

I’ll have to re-think my support...

I cannot believe that the past eight years, along with the 15 or so months left, have been for naught. This country is spiraling down like it was with Carter, although worse, much worse. The worse is yet to come, and it will be the result of the policies of Obama and actions of Clinton, and people will see that. No way that this nation will succumb to this. We will rise as a people like we did with Reagan. All it takes is leadership and that we don’t beat ourselves up in the process.

Hillary has a lock on about 240EV no matter what she does.

I will not say more because I will just assume you are young and naive.

To keep from being eternally depressed, two thoughts strengthen me.

1st election John McCain, stopped his campaign to help Obozo, and white guilt, and black population. Not there for this election.

2nd election. Mitt Romney was a light skinned Obama, and offered the country nothing by way of a new direction. Plus the IRS scandal that kept message away from the voters.

With work we wiped out the dem majority in both houses. We can take the WH this time with right candidate.

There is a lot of backlash over the SSM issue, and people who normally don’t vote are paying attention.

I agree - having this number of potentials is good for a number of reasons. One is it has blunted the effectiveness of the Dems early demonization. Do they spend (waste) their money or news articles attacking Rubio or Bush or [ ] and then a different one pops up at the end? And whatever they say, because there are so many, their LIVs will be confused and they cannot keep track of them all. Heck, many of these LIVs cannot name their own US Senators.

Secondly - compared to the last two elections, the Rep have a number of very different candidates. Take big outsider, very outspoken Trump (must be driving the GOPe insane) and Christie and Cruz (who also drives GOPe crazy) - these guys punch hard - all the way to Senator Sweater guy Santorum. The Dems really want a Bush - Clinton election naturally because anyone name Bush benefits from the previous demonization $ spent on W. But the outspoken guys may force some of the sweater guys to stop being so nice.

Finally, you are right - many are jockeying for position. One of them might make it to VP, or get appointed somewhere down the line if Rep win - only to be used to run again in a future election - with more organization, name recognition and $$$$.

will be brought out of the closet These two northeasterners - like or hate ‘em, wil at the end ....

Well, to start I’ll over look your last remark.

I am frankly surprised at the pessimism expressed in many of the posting responses.

I cannot believe that this great country will allow a mere 8 years, from a sociopath change our trajectory. Talk about young and naïve? Perhaps you are the one. I’m old enough to remember the Carter years.

I can’t even begin to imagine what it was like during our civil war.

We talk about voter fraud. How come there was no proven voter fraud in our past, especially when votes were counted by hand, then sent to Washington by hand? Or maybe there was.

NO WAY, NO HOW, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. THE MAJORITY OF VOTING PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY ARE CONSERVATIVE AND WILL COME OUT IN FORCE THIS TIME. HILLARY WILL LOSE AND LOSE BIG. AND WE ARE ABOUT TO EMBARK IN THE BEST YEARS OF LIFE ON EARTH.
