Kalashnikov shifted production to the US due to economic sanctions against Russia.

I can see the Ad campaign now.
Take “Anarchy in the UK” and adjust the lyrics to “AK in the USA”.

The Kalashnikov USA web site provides a menu of two rifles and two shotguns, all semiautomatics. One of the rifles features a curved, banana-style high-capacity magazine with 30 rounds.

Yeah, the one with the "curved" magazine! That'S the REALLY dangerous one!

Always nice to have 30 rounds in a pinch.

“Assault rifle”

Anything used as a weapon is an ‘assault’ weapon. “Assault rifle” is just a scary moniker the media and communists attached to any rifle that “looks scary.”

The only ones that are in use today are semi-auto, bolt-action, lever-action, and if you have $20,000 and a Class III permit, full-autos.

We need to take back the language. The communists have owned it for far too long. I think Ted Cruz should connect with John Lott and maybe get him to start stumping for him. I don’t remember the guy’s name from GOA, but maybe him too.

No No its the dreaded ‘black’ AR rifle that scares the bejeezus out of rabid racist anti-gunners.

AK soft colored wood stocks, forepiece and peaceful looking tan/brown magazines illustrates the chosen weapon for brown folks throughout the world.

/sarc as if it’s needed

The company has not told CNNMoney where that factory is located.

Now that's weird. Wonder if it's a factory or if they'e subcontracting. I think Kalashnikov has started production in Venezuela as planned.

The manufacturer must know this, too, because the U.S. made AKs appear to all be ‘black’ rifles.

But why? The AK-47's and AK-74's are notorious for barrel climb when firing in full automatic mode. Reliable yes, but accurate, no.

Oh yeah, that ‘curved magazine’ really looks neat-o, doesn’t it?????

I bet after the local clusterbuck called ‘jade helm’ gets finished in your area, ya’s jus’ might want a few of those neat-o magazines!!!

Of course, though, the AK looks so much better in wood and steel, like the age-old-tried-and-true lever action rifle, before Mossberg brought out that abortive messy plastic version!

“The manufacturer must know this, too, because the U.S. made AKs appear to all be ‘black’ rifles.”

the ones on the site are. If you look in the catalog, they have a wood version. What I think is interesting is that on the site they say it is based on the AK-74, the new improved version of the AK-47. Basically an AK-104 with cosmetic differences. They are Kalishnikov, they have the rights to build them, I suppose.

I want one, but I don’t need one, I need an AR.

I though it was the pistol gripped automatic assault shotgun with dual 50 round banana drum magazine clips with affixed bayonet, tripod, and laser night scope vision. Comes in a variety of calibers from .223 to 50 caliber 12 gauge.
