I don’t know Greek either but the Greeks are apparently baffled why the rest of Europe can’t agree with the Greeks’ proposal to “we’ll make the €1.6bn to the IMF on June 30th if you just advance us another €6.8bn (or whatever the exact figure is) right now. After all, that type of proposal has been agreed to repeatedly for many years.

The unacceptable (to the Greeks) alternative is for the Greeks to live within their means (a foreign concept to them).
