I have never understood how someone of such caliber as Sarah de-evolved into conservative “unusefullness”...perhaps naivete, on her part of not realizing how much the Left does hate.
Perhaps her daughter has some rebellion in her, not sure...makes me want to keep teaching my kids and keep their eyes wide open. Reality is you can’t separate the daughter from the mom and say, well, she isn’t Sarah, so it bears no impact to Sarah...not true, it does steal some credence from her and that is a shame...how her daughter didn’t learn, didn’t listen, not sure. Sarah kinda vanished in a way, so what happens behind the scenes in her family is her business...however, it has stolen some of her valor.
SHE keep making it our business. At least Bristol does. She spouts out about abstinence and then goes out and gets knocked up again.
She is old enough that she is not her “mother’s” problem. But Bristol should shut up, raise her kids, and stay home with her legs crossed.
I know after our second kid, we did not have enough energy to do anything else. That will be good for Bristol.
Had they NOT made it public, and “the world” found out later, it would have received no less hatefulness, no less vitriol, no less attention. Probably a lot more and Sarah would have been accused of trying to cover it up, being deceitful, etc. They cannot win, regardless. It is sad, unfortunate, etc. that this happened, but it is the same thing that happens in all the rest of our families every day. They are not gods. They are humans, make the same mistakes, etc. Sarah never once set herself up as a “better than thou” Christian type, it was the media that did that so they could eviscerate her for every family fault that comes to light. Let’s pray for the Palins instead of joining the pack of wolves. The intent of the media is to make her a pariah so that no one will ever want her to be any leader or in a position of leadership.
Why do WE let THEM win these games? The left is openly perverse and yet we let them dictate who we “trust” by allowing them to eviscerate all our best candidates. We let the LEFT determine who is good enough for us? Then no one is...plainly sated, they will FIND something or INVENT something to bring down every godly candidate we put up, especially at the 11th hour, when there is no time for a rebuttal. We should know the tactics of the left by now.
When we read headlines about some of our best people, instead of jumping off the wagon of support, we should be hunkering down and praying for them. In fact, if we were really praying for godly candidates to be successful, we’d be praying for the ones we feel we could support instead of watching to see what the left is going to find on them. The left will make a mountain out of a molehill, will juice it up, will make it as trashy as possible the time it is announced. We should be wary of ANYTHING the media puts out. I am sad for Bristol Palin, but I think no less of Sarah than I ever have. It is not Sarah’s fault that her daughter made a couple mistakes. If people knew some of the things we all have done, would we willingly confess to them? Most of us would be angry about it.
