All involved in perpetrating the assault should be put away for a long time. Come to think of it, if the mother was armed and Graneesha caught one in the forehead, would the mother go to jail?

Probably won’t happen.
Considering the jury pool, if this would go to trial, the jury would refuse to convict,
and if the prosecutor knows this, he’ll plea bargain to avoid going to court.
