Linwood Jones, with Windshield Express, said it was not the first time someone has reported having their car hit with objects while driving on Interstate 95.
Just had a lady come in with a sunroof that was smashed in and she said she was on 95 and didnt know what hit her, he said.
Meadows said Virginia State Police informed him they would patrol the area, but said thats all they could do for now.

Everyone should be running a dashcam these days, it would resolve these types of events much sooner.
A decent G1W is $50 from Amazon, heck even Garmin has one built into a GPS. Mine has already cleared a driver at an accident and led to the capture of a serial red-light runner/drug dealer.
Reminds me of the time, driving through the south of France in a Peugeot 505, a rock or something utterly shattered my front windshield.
I stopped off at the next country service station and wouldn’t you know they only had a couple of windshields in stock.
They had the 505!
It didn’t even take them long to install it.
Just long enough for me to have a coffee while I watched the owner’s son come in from the fields,
a slingshot bulging from his pocket.
