A month after canceling her wedding, Bristol Palin has announced that she's pregnant.
"I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant," she wrote in a blog post on the religious website Patheos. "Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one."
She continued, "I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect [my 6-year-old son] Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."

According to a Wasilla insider, Bristol has told friends “that the baby daddy is her ex-fiancé, Dakota Meyer.”

I think they just ‘anticipated’ the wedding night a bit early. Happens all the time. Truly, not that big a deal in the big picture, except for the called-off wedding part. I’m sure it never occurred to her that she wouldn’t be getting married.
Let’s be honest-she’s 24 years old. I don’t know of many engaged 24 year olds who actually wait for their wedding night, especially if they are already sexually experienced.
For the record, yes, my hubby & I waited-but it was extremely challenging, and having a very small wedding & short engagement helped a lot. We also didn’t want me to be throwing up from morning sickness at the wedding!
Bristol’s engagement appeared to be loving, stable and solid. Things happen-and I don’t think she’s been an abstinence spokesman for a few years. There’s a fairly big difference between a 17 yr. old high school girl and an engaged 24 yr. old woman.
Maybe this will bring the fiancé back into her life. If not, I’m sure her family will be there for her.
If nothing else, at least she didn’t have an abortion. Where there is life, there is hope. After her embarrassment & disappointment fade, she’ll have a lovely baby at the end of all this. A pretty good deal, if you ask me!
Bottom line ... she's white trash. Gave her the benefit of the doubt, because of her youth, first time around ... not again ... this girl is stupid.
Her children were born out of wedlock. Is that not the definition of a bastard child?

Some people with personality defects REVEL in the CRUELTY they can inflict on others when the targets of their cruelty are most vulnerable. I can never understand such despicable behavior.
It’s human nature. Some people strive to overcome it and some wallow in it. I have to be honest and admit that I’ve done it too but not with the venom that has been displayed here.
No, I’m not “patting” anyone. I’m pointing out that this young woman apparently has the self-discipline of a drunken sorority girl in an NFL training camp.
I didn’t know she was going about preaching chastity, learned it on this thread, but if want to defend sexual immorality, don’t drag others into it.
