A New Jersey couple is suing the couple that sold them their $1.3 million dream house, along with the realtor and an unidentified alleged stalker dubbed "The Watcher," who they say forced them to flee by sending creepy letters.

The couple, whose names are being withheld out of concern for their safety, received the first of many messages just three days after they plunked down $1.3 million for their new home in the tony New Jersey borough of Westfield, according to their lawsuit, first reported by NJ.com.

"Why are you here? I will find out," read part of the first of “The Watcher’s” letters. "My grandfather watched the house in the 1920s and my father watched in the 1960s. It is now my time."

Because if you’re in the right part of the state there isn’t a better place in the country to live.

Part of New Jersey is in Texas... who knew.

I would have hired a private Eye and tracked them down gathered evidence then got a restraining order, but that is just me.

If they crossed my property line they would not be crossing it back... just sayin...

“All the windows and door in [the house] allow me to watch you and track you as you move through the house,”

Hmm.
Cameras would observe someone wandering outside.
If it is a neighbor, it is one nearby.

check out long island, makes nj look like a trailer park..
dont bother to tell me about peapak-gladstone, park ridge or saddle river... that’s chump change housing compared to the long island gold coast...
nj the garden state, famous for secaucus dumps and pig farms, ruterford refineries, the turnpike and krispy kreme (the bloated gov and his obama sandy embrace)...
the jersey shore crew of retards from brooklyn (nj culture) and fort dix..

One of the great parts about getting old is that this sort of thing wouldn’t bother me at all. I’d open the curtains, drop my drawers, and check the ER that evening for somebody who’d just tried to gouge his eyes out with a barbecue fork.

Remember that TV movie from the 1970s? Bad Ronald? He lived in the walls of a house and watched the family through peep holes.

"I am the Prince of Antranta!"

I was thinking of this book:

Most of the people who hate on NJ couldn’t afford to live in the better parts of the state anyway, so it’s not really an issue.

Odd that this should creep someone out that someone is watching their house when the government watches everything else. You’d think people would be kind of blasé about being monitored 24/7/365 by now.
