Sam Maccarone and Jessica Burzichelli say they have been in love since they were 10 years old.
They dated through high school, and didn’t let going to different colleges break their relationship.
“In the end, I just think both of us realized we were meant for each other,” Burzichelli told BuzzFeed News.
Maccarone says his girlfriend had been dropping hints about getting engaged for months. Little did she know, the proposal was already in the works.
Maccarone told his sweetheart that his cousin – who is a musician – wanted to feature them as a couple in his music video.
She agreed, and the music video proposal was recorded so Maccarone and the love of his life could relive the memory forever.
“I’ve dreamed about this since we were little kids,” Burzichelli said.
The video has gone viral and has over 1 million views. Watch the perfection in the player above.
I knew a couple like this. Dated since gradeschool. They were divorced in three years.

My mother lived two doors down from my father, and he tutored her in math. He was 16, she was 9. He went off to college and then to fight in WWII. He returned from the war just after her 18th birthday, and they were married. He was a 26 y/o handsome Army major with wavy blond hair, she was a stunning brunette with movie star good looks. A love affair of one man and one woman *only* that lasted for 74 years until their deaths within seven months of each other. They are buried together at Arlington National Cemetery. I get misty each time I remember.
Former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings met and has been with his wife - since Kindergarten.
I’ve got friends like this. They’ve been together for 20+ years and 3 kids and are still crazy for each other.
Just goes to show, you never know.
A wedding ring is just a vicious circle.
We married at 18. Next month will be 43 years. Toward the end I am taking comfort in going first. I couldn’t live without her.
