Assault weapons by law are already banned and have been for years.
Let me school you on what kind of weapons are legal for the US population to own. Since I own them and you obviously don’t which begs the question why do you care about something you don’t own and seem completely clueless about. But lets leave that for another day.
Assault weapons are automatic weapons with a selector switch. That means you can switch back and forth from a 3 round automatic burst to a semi automatic mode.
In the Us the average Joe is allowed to own tactical rifles. They are semi automatic which means that you have to pull the trigger every time you want to fire the weapon. They are really no different from a high powered deer rifle except they are all black and kind of scary looking.
So actually no Trump does not want to ban semi automatic tactical rifles. Even if he does the legislature will never do it because they know there is no support in the public for it and it will likely kick off CWII.
So find another reason to diss Trump
