I went to every home game and some away games when The Big Red Machine and Pete Rose were in full force. I knew Pete somewhat, as everyone in Cincy did, and he NEVER gave less than 100%!! He would NEVER bet against himself.....Pete KNEW he was great and was looked up to, he would never take a fall.
The trouble starts when you start losing bets. Now you’re in debt to criminals. Criminals that might want you to fix games. He broke the big rule. And he lied and lied and lied. That’s why it’s correct he be banned for life.
He burned out his bullpen on the days he had money on the game and no so much when he didn’t. F-him!
