Actually, we once knew a Chinese couple. The wife claimed to be so nearsighted that she wore both contacts and glasses. She also bragged that without her glasses she could pretend that her (100% Chinese) husband was her Mexican lover!

Oh! My! I haven’t heard about it... We used to live in Costa Mesa (before retiring to GA) and I well remember the ash and burned bark falling on our cars and driveways there from Big Bear fires.
