It’s just this cat has never been outside since a kitten....At the advice of many people they said better to keep cats as in house pets. I wish now I had not done that.
I have another cat I rescued who had been outdoors for a very long time so I let him decide ....he’s an indoor outdoor cat and very happy being so.
It is comforting thinking she may be with another family.
We recently converted two indoor cats(when living with another family) to outdoor cats. They don’t wander. One of them has befriended a box turtle and they hang out doing weed together. The other is fascinated by moles and spends the day looking for them.
