Because:
1) Generation X and Generation.com/Generation Smartphone are dumbed down and will believe anything slick, polished, and whatever Jon Stewart, Kanye West, and their college professors/publick school teachers tell them to believe, and
2) Republicans and conservatives are completely incapable of communicating with, and therefore selling their ideas to, anyone under the age of 35. In fact, they're unwilling to even try, because that means having to stoop to using pop culture, and nothing's more repulsive than that to a dino-con.
