We had a fireworks show here last night that might repeat tonight, though probably not as strong. But the lightening and thunder hit right above us, practically in the same moment, and scared both me and the cat. Not a lot of rain, or any hail that was promised, just a lot of light and noise.
I’ve had 3” of rain this week. Uncle!

I was glad for the distraction. My word, it’s been boring around here.
It’s supposed to reach 100, possibly tomorrow, certainly in the next few days. It’s the high desert, it’s what we get.
Looks like Eastern Texas is going to be hit hard.
Be safe, We went through devastating flooding in ‘05, ‘06 and 2011...awful to look out your window and see a lake(wee were OK except for the displaced critters...
I remember 1957, I was a boy then... it was a very good year, don't mind repeating that one at all.
But if he tells us it's 1964 again, then I'll start to worry... ;-)
