No, "they" don't, because what you're saying is nonsense that was demolished decades ago. There is no law of thermodynamics that requires entropy to increase on a local scale. The Second Law only applies to the universe, or to completely isolated thermodynamic systems. The Earth is neither of those things.

I'm going to use that logic when I tell the wife I don't have to clean the garage. My garage system will increase in order if we just add enough raw energy and wait a couple billion years. I'll be sure to tell her the waiting is crucial.

After I tell her this she will probably help add raw energy with by using a match and gasoline.

I can't wait to see all the new tools and cars that evolve in my garage due to the increases in order after we add some energy and time.
