In January of 2010....I gave up sodas entirely, and went to unsweetened iced tea (with a big chunk of lemon). Over the course of roughly three years...other than when I flew or had to sit in a airline terminal....I stayed entirely on tea. I have to admit...I got used to it and it’s made a big difference.
Today? I’ll have maybe one soda a month and consider it a treat. I stick mostly with water or tea, and a morning orange juice. Probably the best decision I’ve made in the last decade. Looking back (I used to drink four Mountain Dews daily)...I’ve come a long way.
