One weekend, when Max had been out longer and was further down the wind. It’s nearly doubled Tomorrowland in both domestic and total. And yes an R rated movie in a 40 year old franchise got beat by a PG-13 (the butter zone) rated movie in a 4 year old franchise. It’s still making bank, because IT’S A GREAT MOVIE. You just need to internalize the fact that not everybody likes every great movie. You’re on the outs for Max, not the movies fault. Not even your fault. Now get over it.
Oh I am over it, because it’s forgettable and has no staying power.
