The stuff has actually gotten popular among foodies.
They like news to break late Friday so regular people are pissed off all weekend and the goobamint is off all weekend.
Sorry, but I fail to see why it is necessary to denigrate her for serving “NAZI food”, as if no one else ever ate this. Geesh. A real stretch and insult to boot. Smacks only of the tired old association-with-NAZI/Hitler game.

She must’ve just fallen off the Mercedes turnip truck.
Maybe she could serve a typical moochelle school lunch consisting of outdated milk, undercooked chicken on a burned bun, still frozen strawberries stuck together, and a space on the tray where french fries would have gone had they not run out of them. Schools using her menus are seeing a billion dollars of “food” thrown in the trash each year.
Not a fan of the Mooch, but Kohlrabi is actually quite tasty although I have never heard it called German turnip. It is a member of the cabbage family.
turnips are a frikkin’ weed ... anyone can get a turnip to grow and pretty much y’can’t kill it, neither.
Kohlrabi good. Wookie bad. Let her suck down milkshakes and eat trendyburgers.

What I despise about Moochelle is that she’s giving veggies a bad name.
Kohlrabi is an odd looking but very tasty veggie. I love it shredded in a slaw and have a whole bunch growing in garden right now. And kale - one of my favorite,now hated because of her.
Michelle is “growing them” in the sense that she went out to the garden once and walked by them on her way to a limo and a Culver’s better butter burger.
I do share her concern for healthy eating (and I have a physique much like hers, evidencing at least a LOT of eating...healthy or otherwise)
but REALLY...how many kids want a diet of Turnips?!
(And who elected her as our childrens’ dietician, anyway!? For goodness sakes!)
One thing I will add ... my grandfather went on a Turnip Diet (don’t ask me, he just seemed to know about this)... and he lost a whole LOT of weight..... I doubt it was really healthy (certainly he wasn’t getting a ‘balanced diet” except when a turnip stood still, balanced on the table without rolling off to the floor). So I cannot recommend this approach to anyone. And everyone else got sick of turnips being boiled morning noon and night.
But anyway, he lost about 50 pounds or so.... so at least for him it worked.

What’s wrong with kohlrabi? It’s a cruciferous vegetable, and one of only two vegetables native to Northern Europe. (With Brussels Sprouts)
My Dad, a good German, grew kohlrabies. We learned to eat them raw, fresh from the garden.
My Mom added them to the pot that contained the boiled pork hocks.
Life was good, the food was better.
My guess is that Moosechelle spews a lot of gas after eating those things.
