Snoop Dogg has really stepped in it this time. In an Instagram post intended to promote the charitable work in Africa by Akon, Snoop lamented that Akon's efforts have been overshadowed by the introduction of "Caitlyn" Jenner, whom he referred to as a "science project":
The "dehumanizing" comment has been met with a less than enthusiastic response from transgender advocates:
The problem here isn’t just that he refers to Jenner as a “science project,” completely dehumanizing a woman finally trying to live the identity she feels is right for her.
The problem goes beyond Snoop’s refusal to refer to Jenner by the first name that she asks the world to call her by. But, also, Snoop fails to understand the importance of the story, why it is deserving of attention, and just how many people might benefit from Jenner’s bravery.
Supplying electricity to 600m people is a big deal.
He also endorsed Hillary! Is Hillary! going to condemn Snoop Dog for this horrible, anti-transvestite bigotry?

I actually went and dug into this a bit.
What they have are solar-powered street lights in 11 countries so far.
That’s a far cry from providing solar power to 600M.
One thing the Libs have yet to factored is how much “Bruce Gendered” is going to negatively affected those people who are “Transgendered” but are not flamboyaunt about it and just want to live under the rador, how many of these “folks” (to use an Obama term) will be “outed” because now people are more “aware” of the Transgendering thing.....
All Liberal/Progressive actions have un-intended consequences.....
