I just heard Walker on Neal Cavuto's program hint that he might consider a Walker/Rubio ticket.
What do Freepers think of this?
Needs someone who can attack Hillary relentlessly and get away with it . Fiorina, obviously. And that goes for any Presidential candidate. Don’t worry about the fact that she only agrees with you 80% of the time, she can FORCE the highlighting of Clintons’ corruption.
Bad news. Walker is the only real candidate (Santorum doesn’t count) even remotely saying the right thing about immigration, and now he throws kisses to Rubio, the Prince of Amnesty.
No, Rubio sucks!
NO VP ever does more than Biden, that's why the only question is: How much will they help the ticket? Carly Fiorina is the one for VP, no matter who is at the top. She can mud-wrestle Hillary and kick her butt. That's all that matters.
That’s not going to help him.
I’ll say it again — why aren’t the establishment attacking Walker? I’m all in for Cruz even if it’s a write-in...
Some people will never understand that Walker is a RINO at heart.
Not surprised. But is he suggesting himself at the top of the ticket or Rubio? Because Walker hasn’t announced yet.
Why would Walker, who is claiming now to be the farthest to the right on immigration pick Rubio who is completely the opposite? Why would he pick someone who stabbed conservatives in the back?
I think his pick will tell you a lot about Walker if he gets the nomination. And he won’t pick Ted Cruz.
I just threw up in my mouth and ordered a Trump yard sign. :-)
Would want to see why he did this and under what context. It did not do Walker any large favor. If he is serious, even worse.
We are coming on the season of stupid comments that lowers voter’s views. Sorry to see Walker wanting to lead the pack.
If Rubio can tip the scales for Florida in the general election, then yes. Rubio would be an excellent running mate.
You and I are definitely on the same page. Further confirmation that Walker has a weak core.
Yep—here’s an article on that very subject—and on Walker’s “signature” accomplishment:

Wow! That was an excellent find. Thank you so much for posting it. That needs its own thread.
I understand from the article that Walker’s numbers are falling in Wisconsin and that many don’t believe he would carry that state.
I like some of the things Trump says. I still would like to see him as Secretary of Commerce. He has the knowledge to really make a difference in that position.
Walker was speaking of Rubio as VP.
Yeah, I’ve actually never posted a thread here.
Scott Conroy tweeted it out this AM and, of course, it’s on the Huff Post.
I am kind of thinking of Cruz/Walker. I hope Walker is reading FR.
Correct
A VP doesn't call the shots - but it would be a strange choice to say the least for a candidate as anti-immigration as Walker claims to be. It's beginning to look like any vote I cast will be with nose firmly held.
