There is juvenile detention, though.

How long do you think he would have gotten in juvenile detention. I doubt he would have gotten more than a few months. Is that worth putting his sisters through the horror of a trial and allowing CPS to disrupt their lives?

Those boys in Stubenville, ohio got two years for raping that girl.

Yes CPS should have come in because their parents did not think much of those girls to get them counseling.

I've been asking the people screaming here the same questions on another thread. I've asked what they would've done. I haven't received an answer past "call the police."

You're right - this is a far more complicated situation because the boy was 14. It's not as if the police would've locked him up for good.
