Mitch McConnell says he expects to maintain but not grow the U.S. Senate's Republican majority next year.
The Senate majority leader said Tuesday the GOP's chances of gaining seats are "pretty slim" because Republicans must defend 24 seats compared to the Democrats' 10. Plus, Republicans will field candidates in several states dominated by the presidential election, including New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois. He said Republicans "regretfully" have an open seat in Florida because Marco Rubio is running for president and not re-election at the same time, as McConnell's fellow Kentuckian Rand Paul plans to do.

Pretty much the only good thing so far was getting rid of Black-Eye Harry.
So did Rand Paul.
So did Rand Paul.
I agree. Republicans will likely lose seats in the Senate as we are forced into nasty primaries with the GOPers. While that is a bitter pill to swallow, it is worth it to rid ourselves of cancers such as McCain and Cornyn.
Well, if the majority gets too big, we might be able to cut off Dhimmicrap amendments and bills. Can’t have that!
And Rand Paul doesn’t deserve the conservative vote for president, either.
lol!
Zero’s Bitch Mitch.
Thanks again to all the Freepers who demanded we elect lesser evils “no matter what”. They got the liberals they wanted.
Mitch becomes the Minority Bitch come Jan. 2017. (In title only-he is role playing the part now.)
Bank on it!
We would be better served with Harry Reid in charge. Maybe we could get him to stay for 2 more years. At least that way, President Cruz could face opposition head on instead of guarding his back from his own party.
And fat lot of good it will do. Just wandering toward hell a little slower than Obola.
Who wants to support a party with such low expectations?
