I am convinced this is because when we went on road trips to visit relatives, often Mom had egg salad sandwiches to feed us for lunch because Dad didn't like stopping somewhere. We had five kids in a hot, crowded car (WAY before A/C) and Igloo coolers didn't exist yet. The sandwiches were warm (a wonder we didn't get food poisoning!). We also usually had a lot of left over eggs from Easter egg hunts and we had to eat them lest they went to waste. To this day, I do not like egg salad, stuffed eggs or most any kind of eggs other than perhaps a well-made omelet or soft scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage though, lately, I am getting so I don't even like eggs any way they are prepared. I say it's all Mom's fault!
Y'all enjoy them, though! ☺
BB -stand by your side! hard boiled eggs or not my cup of tea either. And...anything ..BUT Deviled eggs- gag. Never was much of an ‘egg’ person until recent years. Now enjoy a nice fluffy omelet, soft scrambled and of course quiches and such. Fried, over easy, deviled eggs, and boiled eggs only bring out the chicken in me. Don’t care fore the taste or the smell.
Though not an egg recipe, this morning this recipe caught the eye for an easy, looks to be scrumptious meal.
