When members of the military came out against being Al Qeada’s Air Force in Syria, we do in fact see courageous fidelity to the constitution in opposing the dictatorship.
Remember, the DHS has issued a memo listing veterans as among the top domestic terrorist threats. We can’t trust this federal government; we are no longer a constituional republic and we are run by an international oligarchic elite. At this point, the military would be within its constituional rights to depose this government and restore the republic.

I have not looked up his history and I can't comment on the past. If it's a "hit and run" on his part, well that's too bad.

I don’t believe for even an instant that attention seeking was the purpose.
I believe he had a Freudian moment of candor, and stated outright what he normally only hints at.
It is very much in character for the tea party despising, Palin hating, sickoflibs.
He pretty much despises all things conservative, except money.
In 2008 Hillary would have won his vote if Obama had not defeated her, as it is, we don’t know who he voted for that year.

This is the day we remember all those young guys. It doesn’t make any difference if the wars they fought in were “popular” or that their Commander in Chief doesn’t deserve their sacrifice. All that matters is that they went when they were asked and lost all they had for all of.

I went back and read the entire thread, start to finish (something to do while eating lunch). And I gotta say, sickoflib's responses were some of the oddest things I've ever read on FR.
Either he was high on something, or he's some sort of troll. But I suppose there's a third possibility. Maybe some silly 12-year-old got a hold of his FR password.
I don’t trust this government any further than I can throw it but our troops are still the best. As you can tell, I will never forget what happened to us in our war (Vietnam) and I’ll be damned if I’ll let the same thing happen to this generation in uniform.
Memorial Day for me is faces, hundreds of them. Guys I knew or just stood next to them. I have spent all these remembering them and wondering how it was that I was chosen to live all this time and they lost everything.
He is one of those posters that often sounds like a troll, in other words, it isn’t just his opinions or that one differs from him, or ends up arguing views with him, it’s that he often posts like someone who just stumbled onto the site and wants to create troll chaos.
Post 2 on the thread was just that, an anti-conservative troll, baiting people.
