IIRC, Josh Dugger and his wife didn’t have their very first kiss until the end of their wedding ceremony (which of course was filmed for their TV show of course – their “modesty” notwithstanding / s)
Or are even allowed to share a hug unless something called a “side hug” and or allowed to hold hands until they are engaged and even then only under close adult or older sibling supervision, during a “courtship” which has to be arranged and approved by the family(s) BTW.
The girls must also wear below length dresses and must never bare their shoulders, and are forbidden to extend their education past their home school high school level and as I understand, the girl’s later education focuses mainly on the “home arts”, she is not expected to nor allowed to have a career outside of being a wife and mother to a big brood of kids, and even the guys are not to wear shorts and they won’t even go to a swimming pool or beach out of their concern over being in or even seeing any immodest dress.
But then on the other hand, once married they are expected to have a child as quickly as possible and as many children as possible and in very quick succession – one right after another. In other words – have SEX and lots of it. SEX, SEX, SEX, SEX,….
I can see why a child brought up in the that environment, when he is old enough to understand that reason his parents have “19 Kids And Counting” is because his parents are having lots and lots of SEX, but is then taught that even holding hands with a girl on a date is wrong and immoral, might end up being very sexually confused and frustrated.
Add to that a philosophy that says that if he is tempted and acts on that temptation, it is probably because it is the girl’s fault for tempting him by her “immodesty”, including that of his 4 year old sister.
That is some pretty sick stuff in my book.

It’s the way it’s taught that seems weird. Orthodox Jews also have no touching before marriage rules. They also have lots of kids. I don’t think modesty leads to perversion. But jews don’t think children are too sexy to change diapers of.
Seriously doubt they have 19 kids because they have more sex than other married couples. They have 19 kids because they haven’t been sterilized and don’t use birth control.
8:01 p.m. EST tonight on NBC. Just about to turn off the TV, but catch the beginning of a sitcom. The first few jokes deal with male anatomy, including the “p” word. And that’s TAME by comparison to all the entertainment out there, which is made to shock, superficially, but which is actually underneath just about transgressing God’s rules and laughing about, a sort of “see, we went against God, and nothing happened, so He’s not there.” Does our entertainment today honor God? Or does it breed every sort of Satanic confusion?
It was not so long ago that young unmarried men and women had to be chaperoned when together. Then the liberals came along and said that was ridiculous, uptight overprotectiveness because men and women would of course behave themselves when left alone. And ever since that became the new normal, the left has pushed for nothing less than distributing birth control pills and making abortion accessible to elementary school students without their parents’ knowledge. That is their finish line.
Those who deny Christ never acknowledge how much they do to try to make living a life that honors God more difficult. They’ve devoted themselves to doing that, and it shows all around us.
