I am just asking this because I know several Baptists families who don’t: disallow their girls further education (i.e. college/trade school). They also allow their daughters to go unescorted in public without a slew of other females or a male sibling. Although the Baptist families I know are strict in dating.. they don’t disallow it without a sibling escort. I’m not baiting or being rude.. I am just saying the Baptist families I know don’t really compare to the Duggar Family with a great deal.
I’ve heard that they are “Independent Baptists”, which is a denomination I’m not familiar with. But I assume it is not the same as the Southern Baptist Convention.
