Americans believe that there are six times as many gays and lesbians in the population as there actually are, according to new data released by Gallup.
According to Gallup’s tracking surveys in the first four of 2015, 3.8 percent of the U.S. adult population says they are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.
However, in a survey conducted May 6-10, Gallup asked: “Just your best guess, what percent of Americans today would you say are gay or lesbian?”
On average, Americans said it was 23.2 percent. …

Dimocrat politicians believe they are a huge voting block and pander to them accordingly.
Whatever their numbers, they still have no right to demand that an institution that existed before the creation of governments and existed outside of governments must be changed so they can feel “normal”.
Why is Gallup claiming that Americans are overestimating the gay population since Americans have likely been indoctrinated by the corrupt media to overestimate the gay population? Pro-gay activists are probably working in the shadow of the pro-gay media to create the illusion of strength-in-numbers to promote the gay agenda.
I agree 100%. But when the heck did people come up thinking about a quarter of the population was one of those things? Don’t they look around at their friends and family. There is one gay in my extended family of dozens and dozens. There is one friend that came out as gay in his thirties out of about 30 friends. That breaks down to about 3%. the family member it was pretty obvious but the friend hid it pretty well for 30 something years.

now the graphics department I worked in Manhattan, that was 40 percent gay lol. I did it as a good paying career. And they did it as a way to make money while they were pursuing acting singing dancing and god knows what else. And I could tell you stories
The Smithsonian, of all entities, ran an article last year claiming that researchers with “improved methodologies” somehow discovered that 20% of the population is gay.
Now, I don’t buy that number for a second, but when you have one of the premier historical institutions in the U.S. pumping out garbage like this, it’s disheartening but not surprising so many people do buy into the inflated numbers.
but like I said, can’t people just do the math around them of people they know.and they even get wrong the comment estimate of 10% it is nowhere near 10 percent. Either that or Staten Islanders are just a lot more normal than the rest of the country which I doubt lolit is a conservative area with two parents and traditional roles we all grew up with. Nobody believes they are any more than 3%. The dems are all hot because their benefactors in Hollywood are putting on the maximum marketing push which only means there may be 23% queers in the entertainment industry. No different than some shite movie that is vastly over promoted, but none-the-less is still a shite movie.

That is what I say as well. There is NO study that has found Homosexuality to rise above 2%. The most noted studies find Homosexuality in the range of 1.3 - 1.9% with the best average and most likely figure to be 1.7%. Add in bi-sexuals (Who are just garden variety perverts who will have sex with anything, truth be told a vast majority are women who went to college and thought they were ‘special’) and transgenders who are really just complete mental cases and the percentage may bump up to 2%.
I have 52 first cousins most of them have wives & children and I am unaware of ANY out homosexual or lesbian in the extended family.
We have to be talking about 200 or more people. By statistics there should be 3 or 4. There are certainly not 50, but I do not know of any.
How in the HELL can 2-3% of the population CHANGE traditional Marriage that has been around for 5000 YEARS?????

I thought for the longest time that they are less than 1%. I think they’re lying about the 3%. They are over represented in the media like crazy. I remember when they were claiming it was 10% and thought they were nuts. It’s nauseating.
It all depends upon how you define “gay” If you go by how many people CALL THEMSELVES gay then the number is most likely as reported. If however your definition of “gay” is anyone who regularly has same sex sex, then the number is probably up around 25/30% conservatively.
The survey is a result of a barrage of propaganda in campaign roughly 30 years old now, in itself the result of a concentration of homos in the entertainment and media industries, and the unfortunate fact that such behavior has long been acceptable among the country’s ‘elite’.
